Hi. The shortcut for the Help Module is "Y". Does that work?
All the best.

Yes thanx zargg, y worked, I dont know why they dont put this in the drop down menu......obviously anybody who needs to use the help module, isnt going to even consider that pressing 'y' will give them a help module.......kind of back to front stupid i reckon!!!

It obviously would be back to front stupid if it were the only way to find help.

On my Sonar it is in the view menu as the last entry under Help Module. Has a big ? next to it.

Yeah your right its at the bottom of the veiw menu, having it in the help menu would be better. Ive been using sonar since feb 2015, and i only discovered this now.

You are obviously thinking like an application user rather than a programmer. To you and me, putting all the help in one place seems reasonable. To a programmer, the way this particular piece of the help puzzle has been programmed in code makes it look and act like a "view," so there it is.

If it were in the help menu it would be inconsistent with all the other views. It is a view. Also just about all of this is in each eZine that comes with each release. Reading that will help with surprises. Craig goes to some trouble trying to get those out on time and with the latest information. The least we can do is read it.

Yeah i get that......Sonar is being forever improoved, maybe the cakewalk programmers might read this post, maybe they wont, so the help module in a perfect world would be both in the veiw menu and the help menu......Cause yeah the help module is going to be mostly needed by beginners to sonar, who actually need a little more help.......the most obvious place you would look is under the help menu

And like, i bought sonar feb 2015, it was only a month or two ago that i was introduced to the community forum, and it was only a few weeks ago that i actually learnt who craig anderton was, point being is, when you are right at the beggining there is so much information to take in, and all you want to do is record your song, so you might even skip half the tutorials, so that guy who was me once also, the help module should be completely in your face like a big phat red STOP sign............
