Installing AD2 on my laptop via XLN's online installer, seems to install ok, but no beats. Kits will load but no menu for the beats. Installed ok and using with Sonar Plat.
Any ideas?

That is very strange. I suggest contacting the support team at XLN Audio. I had some odd issues also with AD2 and Platinum and they helped me through them. They were extremely helpful. Their response time was quick.
 
The update for Platinum that came out last week....? Solved one of the issues.

Are you saying that when you click on the BEATS tab, you see NOTHING in the Beats Gallery? At a minimum, with no added MIDIpaks, you should see the AD Core beats. You should also see every available MIDIpak with a Preview option. If you not seeing this, the something very strange happened.
 

Yes, nothing, well, actually there is no beats tab, I have been using AD for quite awhile, I know how to access the library of all my paks. No beats tab. Quite strange I thought. I'll confer with XLN in am, thanks all!
