Hello Everyone,

I know there is a thread about this somewhere, just been searching and now can't find it.
Every time I play notes on my MIDI keyboard, the notes actually print on the PRV a few ticks before I actually played them.  I know my timing isnt that bad.   It is very noticeable.

Being that the notes are printing EARLIER than I played them, I feel Cakewalk is trying to compensate for possible latency, which I don't need.

I am pretty sure there is a setting for this, but cant find it right now.

Thank you,
Adam

SONAR doesn't do any compensaiton of MIDI for either Audio latency or MIDI transmission delays by default. I don't know why a small subset of SONAR users encounter this problem in their systems. If necessary, it can be addressed by setting a Timeing Offset (msec) under Preferences > Audio > Sync and Caching. A positive offset will delay audio (including the audio metornome) relative to the MBT timeline so that you effectively play late, and the MIDI is laid down correspondingly later.
