Yeah ive seen a few times people have actual pics of guitars and other instruments on there console veiw......good way to easily see whats what when you have lots of instruments....ide like to know how thats acheived?thanx

Make sure "Icon" is selected in the modules menu, then right click n the icon and choose one.

In console view / double click (or right click) on the space where the icon would be.
Or in track View, right click on the icon (the audio squiggly line thingy)
This opens up a menu of pics for icons.
 
If you don't see the icon spot in place, go to view option in CV and select Icons in the drop down menu.

You can also create you own icons and use them. Make a 96 x 96 pixel PNG or BMP and put it in a folder with the other track icons.
