PS a follow-up... Now that the latency has been addressed via PDC should I now go back into the ASIO-drivers and raise the buffer setting above 0 just for safety sake?

There's no right/wrong answer.
All depends on how you like to work...
If you don't mind a little more "pre-delay" on the reverb, it won't hurt to increase the buffer size.
If you're not hearing any glitches, if you like the tight timing response... there's no need to increase the buffer size.
