Yea, I still creep by from time to time...
I had to say! You always have the greatest stereo fields that I have ever heard!!!
Maybe you could but up a how to video  on what you do? But I wouldn't. lol
Well I think I would. or not....... ? ;)

Really nice, Dan.   And a bit different for you, I think.   Like others I got a bit of that Hornsby vibe which comes across really well in both the piano and arrangement.   Mix sounds clear and punchy too.   Yeah, I could use a bit more piano "wood" and less "string" during the intro but that's a nit all things considered.

Thanks Dave! I use mostly stereo instruments and decide while mixing where to place them. If they don't need to be wide, I'll use something like Channel Tools to narrow the width and place it where I want it. Some tracks will get treated with delay or other widening techniques to place them on the edges. A lot of it is just plain old judicious panning (how boring).

Thanks for the listen and feedback Steve! Your the second (third? I can't remember) to mention Hornsby. I live in Virginia so, maybe it's in the water...
