started a session a few weeks ago.  When x3 producer launched. it did so with out the control bar.  It is missing on all projects that I open. It simply doesn't seem to be misplaced, but actually missing from the program. Any ideas on how to get it back without a "Clean Install".

Thanks for the reply........Yes Yes, That's the point, it's missing....gone.....not around anymore....control C is checked and toggled -nothing.  It is flat missing from the program as far as I can tell. Any ideas on where to find it or how to get it back without a complete  clean install; which is going to mess with the midi, effects settings ect etc on all projects.

Have you installed the patches for X3 ?

I think you could do that in X3

ya make sure its not behind another window. I f that doesn't seem to be the problem you can try, Performance Options/Visual Effects box and change the setting from "Let Windows choose what's best for my computer" to "Adjust for best appearance".
It might be related to a graphics thing but I don't think so. drawing Wave files are more graphic intensive than the CB in my opinion.

Floating around was my first guess when it went missing, but nothing there. Besides it doesn't matter which project I open; New or older, the control bar is missing. Thanks for the reply and Its 0730 in the am I done for now. Thanks again.
 

I have also considered a collapsing window ect, but there is no evidence of that, at least that I can find. I have attempted to download X3 Producer with all the virus protection turned off etc..etc....to no avail. I have X2 running now and the CONTROL BAR is THERE and operational as it always was..but go back to X3 and NOTHING. Tech support is horrible to get in contact with; but I have to keep trying, and hope to get this question to them soon....I hope ! I will look at the graphics thing Chuck. Thank you all for the helpful replies. It looks like a complete CLEAN OUT of X3 Producer and a Clean Install is on the horizon; ending with a few years of incomplete projects and work load FLUSHED !! ..................frustrated with this constant bug stuff....new program may be the answer for future.
