So I've been using my customized 'Millzy' lens over the last few days and enjoying the feature. Then today something weird happened, my lens broke!

I opened a project and noticed that a heap of tracks were missing, it was like they were hidden. I checked track manager and all tracks were ticked so should have displayed. In the console view, all the tracks were there - just vanished from track view. I changed to a different lense and the tracks re-appeared in track view, but when I switched back to my lens, they were gone again. Also the navigator decided to appear - I never use it so that was weird.

I opened a bunch of other projects using my customized lens and some were ok and some not! Not sure what's going on, but I've recreated my customization again and we'll see if it sticks this time!

Was it working ok yesterday?  If so then you could restore the lense file to the following folder from yesterday's backup:

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Cakewalk\SONAR Platinum\Lenses\user

Cheers for that, yeah it was fine yesterday but i'm thinking it's something specific to certain projects that 'breaks' the lens settings. It still worked as expected on some projects but not others.

is it possible you are using screensets in conjunction with the Lens'. maybe that cause some odd conflict.

I don't mean to tell a bad joke in a serious situation, but did the prescription on the lens run out??  We might all need prescription lenses....

Millzy, I'll PM you about this shortly. Haven't come across anything like that before, so I'd like to investigate.

No I don't use screensets, never bothered with them for whatever reason.

I think we've all been framed!
