  • The "add track" dialog is now extremely annoying

Since November Update.
I see this dialog poping up when I:
Save, normalize, load an fx chain preset, clean audio folder, or do something else.
We have several laptops and computers - they all pop up constantly the "add track" dialog.
Every time I save the project with a recorded tape or vinyl - the "add track" dialog pops up.
After normalizing, saving ... and so on, the dialog closes itself.
I have no idea why all our laptops and computers are affected while otherwise no one reports the same.

The computer are all Windows 10 pro x64 (german language) with the newest updates. Sonar is Platinum and Artist (running in ENGLISH). So this is not up to the german version of Sonar.

Why start another thread on the same exact subject you did 2 days ago ?

Just bump that one.
Did you report to the problem reporter ?

As I recall, several people confirmed this issue in an earlier thread in which you posted. I also see this. It's not occurring that often in my workflow, but it sounds like you should roll back unless there's some new feature/fix you can't live without.

Hi. I reported this. Forgot to add that in the other thread.
All the best.

I have also had the add track dialog pop up unexpectedly. In my case I was editing multiple tracks using Melodyne Studio in 2016.11.
I admit I was intentionally trying to find the breaking point of the new update. I found it. I am now unable to make edits I was able to make in the 2016.10 release. The Add Track popup seems to be a symptom of an imminent crash.
I had several crashes yesterday (more than the previous 18 months combined). The Fault Reporter only came up once and as I tried to fill it in, Windows (W10 Pro) crashed and restarted itself. I upgraded to Platinum in June of 2015 (couldn't resist the Deflate Gate) and this is the first time I am considering a roll back.
I have been having some strange behavior with Lenses also. I like the concept but I don't believe the feature is fully baked. Of course that is a topic for a different thread.
