I am sorry if this has been covered before but I didn't see it anywhere.
I have the full version of TH2 but the update installed TH3 and not I can't authorize it.
I have platinum.  I don't recall seeing any serial numbers with the updates.

Looks like you have replaced the full version of TH2 with TH3 Cakewalk Edition which is not as featured as TH3 full version. TH3 Cakewalk Edition works without authorisation. 

If you need to upgrade to TH3 full version you can upgrade for $US149.

I have a different problem I see.
I get no input to TH3 from my presonus audiobox although I have straight guitar sound.
I get no sound trying set input level completely dead.
I thought it might be that I had not authorized it, but I see now that I don't have to.

I am only able to hear what effect TH3 has on the signal only after I have recorded a dry guitar track. Then when I play back I can hear (and see in the TH3 meters) the effect. Is there any way to hear what the TH3 is doing while recording? Otherwise it's pretty useless.

Is the Input Echo button enabled on the track?

Thank you rcklln! That was it. I'm new to Sonar Platinum and am a long way from mastering it (but am really impressed by it). Really good forum as well as shown by your quick and knowledgeable response. I hope this answered ecafighter's problem as well.
