Hi, everyone.

I purchased SONAR X3 LE From Japanese TEAC Online shop.
I try to use third party's VST Plugins(both instruments and effects) but SONAR doesn't recognize them.
My third party's Plugin isn't installed in SONAR's default path, so I added its folder path from "Edit > Preferences > File - VST Settings" but it seems automatic scan doesn't work.
"Cakewalk Plug-in Manager" isn't installed, "Scan VST Folders" button is also inactive.
I copied some Plugin to default plugin path but it wasn't scan.

Is third party's Plugin limited on SONAR X3 LE?
Does any one know the way to use third party's Plugin?
Please give me some help.

LE is next to useless, I have the X1 LE so I speak from experience.      If your on a tight budget I highly recommend the brand new Sonar Home Studio. It has everything the main programs have minus the fluff. On sale for $ 35 right now. All your plugs will work,,, I know, I just did this the other day.

Thank you for your replay, Johnny!

Next to useless...there's no description and no information about VST Scan in any Product Comparison Sheet and Documents.
I got SONAR LE because I want to remix and remaster my songs I created for ten years ago using SONAR3.
Now I have other DAW software, so I'm gonna try to export my old tracks to SMF or WAVE.

Thanks for your recommendation of SONAR HOME STUDIO, I'm gonna check it up, too!
