Inspiration, as pretty much always, was the sounds coming from, in this case, Reaktor 6 : Metaphysical Function, plus the effects I use, such as Pro-R, Timeless, Adaptiverb, MMultiBandGranular and the all new (to me) SpecOps from Unfiltered Audio.
 
I was going to add another layer and while I was playing it back, dabbling with other sounds, I thought, "nah, this is good to go."
 
I've had it on repeat for the last two hours, here at home... Nothing can vex me at this time
 
Missus might be asking me to turn it off soon though haha!
 
 

I love the way you get these sounds to evolve in an interesting and musical manner. Good luck with Bandcamp, will high-res versions be available? I am sure there is detail in this that the Soundcloud compression removes.

These ambient pieces really juice my creativity.  I've always liked the sounds of fans..the arbitrary spectrum that they emit.  I often go to sleep with the sound of fans in the background.  (In florida they were a necessary part of the picture.)  The usual association of floating or moving through interstellar space or solar systems accompanies your pieces.  At least my image of that...I've never really done it... that I know of.
