Sounds good here.  SD 3 drums sound convincing to me.  Still haven't bought SD 3 , soon...  Yes, I hear a little Dylan vocal delivery.  Love the B3.  Push On is a good tune too.

Ooh, a two for one compliment, those are unexpected by nice to hear, thanks! Push On is another recent tune, a bit more catchier, if I do say so myself.

Yeah, SD3 set me back some, even with the upgrade pricing.  And now Ozone 8 just came out....I may never pay my bills again.

That sounds better

Thanks!
I downloaded the full working trial of  Ozone 8 yesterday, and remastered the song using it's AI presets.  Sounds even punchier now.

This is a ready, rough, and raw sound.  I really like it.  You captured the feel of a live performance at a roadhouse just outside of town.  Cool lyrics and genuine emotion.

Cool stuff

Thanks Freddy, I appreciate your comments!
As I mentioned, I always prefer the live sound to a sterile sounding studio version.  Whenever I get into a popular  band, it's usually their live albums I buy first.  (Even though I know most of them contain at least SOME studio overdubs)  And I tend to like bands who sound better live than in the studio....Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews, Poco, Neil Young, to name a few.

Hi Leee,
really nice, i like the groove and the feel of it.  B3 sounds pretty good.  I'm not familiar with that emulator.

vocals could really use some clean up.

other than that, really good stuff!

Thanks Beagle, I appreciate the feedback.  I credit the new Superior Drummer 3 for giving it a great sounding groove.

The new B3 emulator, GGAudio's Blue3, got as much positive attention when it came out a couple of months ago as Superior Drummer 3 is receiving now.  Both plugins have taken a big step closer to sounding like "the real thing."
For awhile it was Native Instruments (legacy) B4 that was many players "go-to" Hammond emulator, then came GSI's VB3, which many people still say is the best.  But when Blue3 came out, it won a lot of people over.  Of course, there are hardware synths like the Nord Electro that sound even better.

Sorry, the vocals for this tune are as about the cleanest they are going to get. I did fix some pitch problems, and a few of the very noticeable timing/sync problems.  But as many have already commented, I'm going for that loose, live sound.

...I'm a big fan of CCR. Neil Young, Grateful Dead, Dylan, and other musicians that put rawness and emotion over perfection in their music.

I think you've good that vibe nailed with this one.   Sounds good!

FWIW, I hear a little Tom Petty in there too.
