I rarely use MIDI but was trying it this morning on a song I'm working on, with a MIDI Keyboard.  I had used this same setup with the old Sonar Platinum and it works without problems.  Just one MIDI track and it aborted and sent the error message.  It didn't say what the problem was other than it encountered a problem.  I didn't try it again, I went back to Sonar Platinum and finished what I wanted for the MIDI track.
 
Although I have CbB installed I'm one of "those" that still uses Sonar Platinum.  Except on a rare occasion, such as this, I only use it as a multi-track tape recorder and Platinum works perfectly for that.  I've used Sonar since V6 and only twice before used any MIDI.
