  • FaderPort no longer working after latest SPLAT update...SOLVED

Just updated to the newest SPLAT release.  Oddly it started up with some new screens that had me reset all my audio and midi settings/instruments/control surfaces.  At first it didn't want to see my midi controller keyboard but after several tries finally did. After going through the preferences section and resetting all my audio and midi and surface controllers back to where they were I have everything (Maschine, NanoKontrol, Alesis QS8) working EXCEPT my FaderPort.  It shows up in the control surface screen and my midi controllers but is not working at all.  Any help anyone could give will be greatly appreciated.

I suspect these new setup screens are part of the "Lenses" thingy which I haven't discovered yet.  Perhaps not.  In any case, I'd like to have my FaderPort back.  IIRC it was a bee-atch to get working in the first place.

Thanks.

My FaderPort is continuing to be Supreme.  I use Az Ctrl if that matters any

If you have another DAW app that also uses the FP, try starting and exiting that app to see if the FP wakes up.

I can't use my Faderport with the new patch either.

It gives a 'not enough memory' error when I try to enable it.

I have a Berhringer keyboard controller  that just gave a "Not Enough Memory" error as well. Weird!!

Mine works great too but I am using AZ-Control too.

I might try rolling back - Settting it up using AZ-Control and then re-updating because I can't select 'Faderport' as an in and out in preferences to change it since the patch - That's when it gives the error.

Hopefully it is fixed soon - I prefer running it without AZ-Control.
The Fader port doesn't turn off when I close Sonar when I use AZ-Control.

Thanks for the heads up. Puts the update on the back burner for me.
Hopeful for a fix though.

Update:
Now it is magically working.

I didn't 'fix' anything - It just decided to start working.

My faderport stopped working after the last update as well. Rolled back using a disc image and it lives again!
