Hi there.  I have just bought Kontakt 5 and am trying to use it.  Unfortunately I have it patched in with a midi track whose output is routed to Kontakt.  When I press a key on my controller, I see it registering on the meter of the midi track.  However no sound out of Kontakt where I have loaded the Indian library that comes with Komplete.  However when I press on the virtual keyboard on Kontakt, I hear the sound.  Also other softsynths are working when I load them in using the identical method I am using for Kontakt,
 
I have Windows 10 with a MAUdio 2496 soundcard.  I have Sonar Professional as well.
 
Any help?  Seems like a routing issue with Kontakt.
 
 
 

Sounds like a mapping issue.
I've noticed that while most synths will accept MIDI Omni as a channel, Kontakt seems to require a specific channel.  
Set your MIDI Input to Channel 1, and set the Kontakt Input to receive on Channel 1 as well.
Hopefully that resolves it.
