Hi everyone,

I use Roland Quad-Capture with Pro Tools 10. When I tried to listen to the condenser mic directly, no sound was going to my headphones and speakers. The phantom power is on, the mic is actually recording and I can monitor from the DAW through the interface. Tried both input channels, however, there's no direct sound when switching the mix knob to Input.

Would appreciate any help.

Ok, first remove Pro Tools from the equation.

Plug your mic into input 2 (just to remove the Hi-Z option as it only applied to input 1)
Boot up , but don't open Pro Tools.

Swing the Mix knob to 'Input'
Press the mono button, so to remove it being a left right speaker issue
Plug in headphones.
turn SENS 2R to 12 o'clockTurn the Volume knowb (unlabelled but above the headphone jack to 50% (12 o9'clock))

Do you hear anything through when you clap you hands to the mic with eitherb headphones of the speakers?
Does making a noise into the mic show on the Quads front panel?

As Kamikaze said,

First remove Pro Tools from the scene.

In the Quad capture driver settings box select this checkbox  [Use ASIO DirectMonitor] to use the ASIO Direct Monitor function of ASIO-compatible software.
