Running like 60 tracks but in "stems" ( I think they are called) each one is a small part of the bass track.
all of a sudden, the backing track pops off about a minuet in over and over. and half the Prothen I reboot the system..  all is good for a while.
Then Splat just shuts off. Reboot again. than all is fine for like an hour then the backing track shuts off again. Bass still playing all is well but backing track with no sound...
it's always happening in the same place at "exactly at 2 minutes". What the heck? Is this the Splat "2 minuets" bug?
Everything else seems to be running and working..
maybe buffers?

win 8.1 Tascam 1200. i5, 8 gigs... 3 plugs running, REDD 17 on main out. Boost 11 and Sonitus gate on Bass buss.

Hi. Which latency settings are you using? IIRC REDD 17 is a bit resource hungry. Which other plugins are in use?
All the best.

A screen shot of your track view would be useful. See if you can include IO assignments and your buss structure

Well it was set to low but after the problem started I set it to normal...  I will dig a bit more into the latency. never had an issues with REDD before, I normally pile on the channel strips. the 17 is always first. but I will take a look at that as well... thanks:)

The routing is simple. Backing track to Main buss out. all other tracks go to the Bass buss then to Main out. nothing going in.

Oh, I may have forgot to mention. This all stated as I tuned up a fader and at the same time the Back track went out around half of the ProCh buttons came on.

This is a normal day for me working with Splat.  out of the blue.. goofy stuff...

testing... removed all plugs, still an issues... now problem is in the looped area. Tracks run fine without loop activation...
But now I'm thinking Tascam 1200 issues because loop and the 1200 seem to have issues working together... I'll be back... :(

Are you talking about notes in a MIDI tracks getting dropped? If so, try increasing your MIDI Prepare Using Buffer in prefrences. Start at 500ms if you're still at the default of 250, and increase from there if REDD 17 or some other plugin is inducing a lot of Plugin Delay Compensation.

The same thing is happening on my other laptop. Using the original project file before creating CWB project file. Though the timing of the backing track shutting off is more random...
Seems to be a looping issues. at this point.

Lexicon alpha (ASIO drivers) Win 10Pro.

Far from done with this issues... I'm going to track this down... I really can't believe others rarely have the same  problems that I get. lol  and I am using 2016 10 on bother systems... maybe I need to rollback again.

I did find new drivers for the 1200 and a firm update for my 1800.

Thanks for the input so far... other ideas?

New Tascam drivers where not much help. BUT an issues from the past with laptops may be to blame.
"Built in soundcard trying to take over"...  one system working for now. have to look at the other one later...
