Will there be a new Sonar Power book?  Or is Sonar X3 Power! the way to go?

Hi Tim,

I am actually working on an update to my SONAR X3 Power book. So, if you would like to get started, you could get the X3 Power book now and then purchase the update when it is ready. The update will only include new feature coverage, so the X3 Power book still has a lot of relevant information for SONAR Platinum. Keep an eye on my website for future announcements... http://www.garrigus.com/

Thanks!
Scott

Hey Scott. I finally decided to buy SonarX3 Power but then thought it best to wait for an update. I understand you don't set the prices on these things but, do you have any idea what an update would cost from SonarX3 Power to the new edition, when it's available.

Hey Mark,

Keep in mind that the update will only cover new features that were added to Artist/Pro/Platinum. If you need coverage of any other features, those can be found in the SONAR X3 Power book.

I don't have any info at the moment other than I'm working on an update.

Thanks!
Scott

Hey Scott.  Good to see you are busy with the update.  My question.  Will the update (s) be a printed book or a PDF type release?  You had indicated an electronic version in the past.

Best
Clint

Hey Clint,

At the moment, the plan is for eBook format. Of course, if enough people scream about it, I'll look into print as well. But print will cost more.

Which format do you like better?

Thanks!

In order to keep up with Cake's new model you're almost forced to go electronic. Print could be too slow.

Printing at home has become so cheap* that you might as well print it yourself.

* only if you fill your own ink cartridges

+1 on the eBook format. I don't have many paper books left.

Printing at home may be relatively cheaper than it was in the past but then again my wife prints reams of documents (she's a Realtor). I should own stock in Epson (Hmm, maybe she does I don't know it).
