You can't print directly from the Kindle program, but you can copy selections into Word or Notepad and then then print. Or highlight a section, then go to http://kindle.amazon.com, and log in using your Amazon account info. Click on "Your Highlights" near the top of the screen. Then copy the section and paste into a Word document (or something similar) and print. Not as convenient as printing directly but helpful.

Would it be possible to have it available as a pdf in addition to the ebook to make printing easier?

Hi Scott.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but here goes.... an Ebook sounds good, as long as I could print it all, or parts of it.  If not, then a PDF would be my choice as I find it easier to read a printed page.  My eyes get tired trying to keep up with words on a screen, even with two 27" monitors.  At 63, I prefer to have a binder for the manual, or updated pages, to read.

Thanks, Clint

Our family has been big E reader fans since the first Kobo came out. My wife is on her 3 version, the Kobo Glow, She can read in bed without keeping me awake! I have a Aluratek  reader that reads most formats. My Daughter has Kindle.
We find E books easier on the eyes and the pocket book. You sign up for e mails and there are always new books on sale for as low as $4.00. There are zillions of free books and the public library lends them out.
Everybody who uses an E book should also use Calibre.      http://calibre-ebook.com/
Calibre will convert and manage your books without all the bullsitting that the Kobo manager does, you can use Calibre to read any format as well.  I have Scotts kindle X1 book and it covers a lot that is still relevant. The update will be excellent for me. I open it n my laptop while learning something new.

Scott, I like your idea of doing an ebook update just for the new features. I really think that this is a good way to proceed in the future. Also, I think this gives Scott a the ability to perhaps go further in depth on a topic (hint, hint)

(wink, wink) Thanks, Bob!

Scott, was X3 Power ever made available as an e-book in the UK?

Hey Colin... no, unfortunately not.. at least not on Kindle. You can blame the publisher for that. They were supposed to be working with Amazon to make it happen, but I doubt it will at this point. Sorry about that.

It is available as an eBook in some other formats though. I have the links up on my site.

Thanks!

Hi Tim,

That's a definite no on the PDF. Sorry about that. In the past, my books were available via PDF and they ended up posted all over the Internet. After the publisher stopped doing PDF, sales were much higher and I need all the sales I can get.

Thanks!

Hey Colin,

I forgot to mention... the title I'm working on now and future titles WILL be available on the Kindle in the UK and worldwide. So, that's some good news, right?

Thanks!
Scott

eBOOK is the future and the future is now so get use to them. I do love having a book though. The tablet , at least, lays flat on the desk so that's a plus. I had always hoped to see a looseleaf  binder with updates to put in when available but looks doubtful. I would have paid a good amount for that and updates.
