eBOOK is the future and the future is now so get use to them. I do love having a book though. The tablet , at least, lays flat on the desk so that's a plus. I had always hoped to see a looseleaf  binder with updates to put in when available but looks doubtful. I would have paid a good amount for that and updates.

Hi Randy... yeah, I like being able to reference my collection of eBooks from pretty much anywhere... PC, laptop, tablet, and even my smartphone for quick reference.
 
Unfortunately, it's difficult and expensive to publish in non-standard formats. I don't remember the last time I saw a book available in looseleaf binder format.

I would think that a printed version would be the most popular. I take the older books I have along to read on long trips when it would use up too much of my phones's battery. That is the thing if your really like sitting down and reading it is far more easy on the eyes to use print than a laptop or android device.
 
That being said having both included in a bundle would be nice. If updates could be printed off with all the picture content in a separate document to save on ink and just page references in the secondary document that would be nice to do as well. That way we can use the computer to see the pictures while reading the print versions that we print off. Videos would be cool as well. 

 Those Sonar Power books can take up a lot of shelf space when you bought them since Sonar 2.

I don't think we will see another printed book. With the new Cakewalk model a hard copy book will be outdated before it hits the streets. A casualty of "progress".

Hey, Scott!  How is that Platinum e-book going?  I want it!

I still want both versions. The print option allows me to have a copy when I wait for my wife in the car, or have to sit on the washing machine when it wobbles, or take it outside to enjoy the weather. I don't have any tablets, or smart phones .... don't make enough calls to justify that! LOL

ah sorry, not necessarily "pdf" but "digital"

I am packing up my Sonar X3 Power book now, for an errand run.
It'll be good to have the Platinum update one.
