Hey all,
  I am running Sonar platinum and just purchased and installed the slate everything bundle. and a new one from Sound toys.  A whole bunch of new plugs I wanna try!   Anyhow.  It's all installed and Authorized on my ilok but not showing up in sonar.  I clicked VST scan and it says there is alread a vst scan in progress, please wait.  Then it gets done and they still aren't there.  What do I do to figure this out?  Thank you.  I am good with computers right up until they don't work right.  Then I am lost.

Wherever they were installed to, That is , where the dll file are must be included in your vst scan path.
Most manufactures assume the correct folders but make certain the path is included or copy the dlls to where the rest of your plugs live and rescan.  You set the search folders here: Cakewalk Plug-in manager-> Options.
 
 

Yep but when I go in the plugin manager & click either "options" or "Scan VST Plugins"  It says
" A VST Scan is already running.
Please wait for it to complete before starting another scan."
  I press ok, the plugin list disappears, then reappears with the same number of plugs, and non of the new ones.  I don't see where I can target any new folders or see where it is even looking now?
 

restart you pc and try again
 

Yeah I figured that out Bitman, Thanks.  I was coming on here to say thanks for trying to help and the next answer you had giving was the one that fixed it, though I figured it out on my own.  Thank you though!   Like I said...  What a dope!
