I seem to recall when I installed my X3 Studio (which came with Melodyne Essentials) Melodyne had to be installed separately, after Sonar was up and running.

First open Command Center and install Melodyne.
Then to use it in your projects:

1- Right click on the clip after making a "Slide/Drag selection".
2- Choose Region FX.
3- Melodyne is in that drop down menu.

There is another way as well using the Drop down tab in TV.
And be careful, Melodyne is like a drug. Once you fix one small thing, you start believing you can fix everything.
You start saying "One more edit and im off this stuff for good".
Remember, Having small mistakes, faults in your music gives it flavor and life.
Makes it closer to sounding authentic.

Thanks. I don't see Melodyne in my Command Control. Do I need to DL it separately from Celemony? It's a bit overwhelming going from Cakewalk Sonar 4 and Autotune (from 3" floppies) ha! I am using the DEMO version of Sonar Pro to see if I can adjust to the latest thing ...ha.

I do not believe Cakewalk includes a trial version of Melodyne in their SONAR demo. Celemony offers a trial version of their product.
