Hi, in old versions of Sonar we can change the current now time clicking in the display of the transport bar, this is changed in Sonar Platinum. I think we can use other formats like hours and minutes to change it in older Sonar versions.
How can i do it in Platinum, using hours, minuts and seconds if i need to move the now time to an exactly position when i work with video?
Thanks.

Hi Jordi,

Here is one way to do it: right click in the time ruler, select the submenu time ruler format, and select your preferred format.

Another way to do it is to right click next to the new + Add Track button and select a display format. After that, you can left click in the small time display just as you used to be able to do, to cycle through all of the available options (except the none option -- to turn off the time display, you'll have to right click again and select none).

Do you mean this?
Projekt  -->  Set timecode at now
Or:
Go to time ??
This can be set as a keyboard shortcut in the preference menu.

No, I think I don't explain right.
I mean when i want to move the cursor to a position in the project, for example the bar 4 beat 3 ticks 244 or in hours and minutes and seconds: 00:00:09:02 the only way i found is the function Go to time. But you only can to  type measures, beats and ticks. It would be fine to do it with hours and minutes, seconds, frames format. especially working with video.
I think in the old Sonar like 8.5 you could type in the now time display this in this format.
Cheers.

1. Choose Edit > Preferences.
2. Choose the Customization - Display category.
3. Put a check next to the option called "Display All Times as SMPTE"

Now all times will be shown in H:M:S:F and you can use the Go dialog to set the Now Time.
