And just as we get into conspiracy theory territory, I notice that my earlier post has been censored, because I used the word suspicion, proving that this software at least is far from passing a Turing test. What does it make of the fine English placename of S****horpe - that has at least two candidates for misplaced censorship. Sometimes, the modern world is despicable.

This software is only fit for the scrap heap ...

Better stop now. Whilst this is LOL funny, I have a feeling that one of us will stumble across some foul phrase that gets through the censor and then end up barred for ToS infringement.

I could be mistaken but I remember several years back a discussion on this subject and the point was brought up that Voxengo had this exact same plugin on sale as a Channel Strip! The GUI is butt ugly but it appears to be the same plug. Sadly, it is still 32 bit. Would it be possible to work a deal with Voxengo to develop a 64 bit version that could be ported in to Sonar? Something to think about. I did like VC64 a lot in the 32 bit days. Now, I tend to build what I need in ProChannel. Although, the BlueTubes channel strip sounds VERY nice!!

BTW, the Voxengo VoxFormer is the plugin I spoke about.

J Bridge is great, and allows me to use VC 64 with no issue.  I really, really love the VC 64 on vox.  I can pull up one of several go to presets and it sounds fantastic for my voice.  Just a few little tweaks to the compressor and I'm in.  I cannot duplicate what it does with other plugs.  It has a special mojo I really love.
