I upgraded to Windows 10 Home (64-bit) in the summer, and at the time, installed the driver for my Tranzport, and everything was working fine. Then upgraded to SPLAT, again, everything fine.

I haven't used the studio in sometime, but over the weekend, I started a new song. Now, for some reason, Tranzport shows up as a controller in SPLAT, and the device shows the current timecode and track in its display, but none of the controls work. I reinstalled the driver, and testing again and it seemed to work OK.

But started up SPLAT again today, and same issue. I reinstalled the driver again, and still no control from the Tranzport.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks, any replies are appreciated.

I'm still on Win7. After the last update Tranzport was playing midi notes instead of transport control usual stuff. When I checked under Control Surfaces I found the Inport had changed to another device. After I changed it back to Tranzport all was well. Don't know if this could be your problem, but it might be worth rechecking.

I did check the MIDI settings, and it shows up just fine as a controller in SPLAT. As far as SPLAT is concerned, it's working, but pressing the buttons just doesn't trigger anything. I also tried deleting the controller and re-inserting it, but that didn't help.

Anything else I can check?

Sorry, I don't understand clearly: I don't know what is SPLAT.

Anyway Tranzport is working well here (win 10 x64). After installing it I get Tranzport midi IN and OUT available that MUST be enabled in Sonar midi preferences.

Given that, in Control Surface preferences I set Tranzport (in and out) and that's all.

Further there is in the Tools menu the way to tweak something more... (a small interface is shown allowing to change some details).

Giorgio,

This is good news.  One of the things holding me back from Windows 10 was whether my beloved Tranzport would work with the OS.  Sounds like it will.

Oh, and SPLAT = SONAR Platinum.

My Tranzport works perfect in Win 10.  I had to install it in a Vista (maybe Win 7) compatibility mode and I had to set my footswitch for "Record" in the Sonar Tranzport setup but other than that all works as it did in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.  I have Sonar Platinum.

I occasionally have the Tranzport freeze up on my Win 7 DAW. I've found that shutting down the computer and restarting it seems to reboot the Tranzport for me.

Seriously?

It's the adopted form of SONAR PLATinum.

It's been spoken as that (almost) since it's introduction in Jan 2015.

I see you don't get out much.

Tried it again tonight and Tranzport works fine now. Not sure if this will continue, because really nothing changed. We'll see....
