Can someone please remind me what this signifies? I know I knew it before, but I can't remember it at the moment...

Thanks!

I think it means that there is a specific parameter on that track, or Pro Channel etc. that has read automation off.

Thanks Reg!

Hmmm... I think that may be it as in turning off an automation while recording?

Hoping for more explicit info if anyone else can help?

If I understand the question correctly, then exactly

I mean from https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=Automation.06.html

Automation Read and Automation Write buttons have three states; enabled, disabled, and dim. Enabled buttons indicate that all associated parameters are read/write enabled. A dim button indicates that some parameters in the track strip or plug-in are read or write enabled, while others are not.

Thanks for hat additional clarification... I needed that! ;-)

I'm guessing there is an issue (for me) where I opened an envelope and didn't use it?

Something along those lines as I've not (to date) created and disabled an envelope knowingly...

Might be that I don't always know what I'm doing too! ;-)

Happy Thanksgiving guys!
