I just put in the 2016.10 update and am having some trouble with the new comping workflow.
 
I have a drum part with 8 tracks.  I've set each take into a selection group, but when I drag to modify crossfades - either to move their placement or to adjust their duration, Sonar is only adjusting the track I'm working on.  It is not adjusting all 8 tracks like it would before I updated.  What am I missing on this?

Ok, so I've managed to create a crossfade between a punched take and the original take and it appeared over all 8 tracks.  I don't know what I did differently for the time that it worked vs all of the times it didn't work.
 
At this time, 3 of the 8 tracks will move the crossfade together.  The other 5 tracks do not respond.  I have no idea why two other tracks began responding to the comping edits.  They just started doing it.
 
Anyone having trouble like this?

Here's what I had to do to get it to work:
After the initial punch recording, the punch was promoted to the active clip and the original take was split at the punch in/out points.  Sonar did not create cross fades at the punch points, so I was trying to create them manually with limited and very weird results.
 
I promoted the original take from under the punch and then healed the split points that had been created.  These operations worked fine across the selection group.  After that, I used the comping tool to select a region of the punch that I wanted to promote.  Sonar created new split points and automatic crossfades on either end of the selection zone.  These new crossfades work as expected across all tracks.
 
Why this didn't happen with the split points created with the original punch recording, I have no idea, but I at least have a method to get my punches edited in now!
