DPro v1.5 is bundled with X1 Producer. DPro may be on a separate disk in the X1 set with its own installer. I do not have the disks opting for the download version instead.  It is the same version of DPro bundled with Platinum. The only thing you may need are the expansion packs from the link I posted above. You can tell if the expansion packs are installed be looking in the DPro program browser. The expansion packs install into separate folders in the browser.

Default installation: are you installing D pro to the same hard drive to the "Default Location".
Or are you installing it to somewhere else on your hard drive ?

Which version of Sonar are you using ?

Platinum last upgrade.
Default location for the program, samples loaded and present on different hard disk.
Still not tried to load from CD.

Partially SOLVED!
CD installation was successful and now I have the 64bit VST working.
The registration doesn't work because cw notifies that I have a wrong reg. Number. I'm running as administrator.

You should be able to use the serial number/registration code pair that came with either X1 or Platinum. Both should be listed in your account. The serial numbers should start with CWDM150. Run the stand alone as administrator to register.

If this is truly the case and not an entry error you will need Cakewalk support to assist you.

Looks like the version you have may be outdated (or your serial number is not matched to that version).
 
Forgive me if you already answered this, bu have you tried manually downloading Dim Pro from your account?
 
Also, the usual rules apply (Run as Administrator, disable antivirus).  I would also reboot the system afterwards.

FIrst of all, thank all of you for the very kind and useful support.
This was solved installing the early version from original X1 CD. The serial used is the latest on my account page and registration was OK. After installation I upgraded to 1.5.5 from downloaded file.
Working fine now!
