I saw quite a few poorly placed speakers in this thread!  Some of you could get a real upgrade in sound quality if you try to revise your speaker placement.
 
I understand space is limited, but you need to get away from those walls, definitely stay out of the corners and get speakers as symmetrical as possible in the room. You may not believe how much difference it makes until you give it a try and it may be the cheapest upgrade you ever did.

I'm curious how much further I should be out. My room is 11' throw direction and my 5" Focals are 2' off the wall. Is that not enough? I don't mix loud. There are times I'm not the only one in the room. I appreciate any thoughts on this.

If your monitors have forward firing ports then you don't even need to be this far out.
 
If they're rear firing than 2' would be ok, especially with a bit of trapping on the rear walls
