I had an open ticket.  MOTU support was basically useless.  The person that worked the problem came across as a nice guy but didn't really help.  I did report to them about the USB 2.0/3.0 issue.  Never heard anything back from them. 
 
My dealings with MOTU (I've opened several tickets) is, if its a configuration or routing problem they are helpful but if its a technical/hardware issue forget it.
