There seem to be quite a few and a lot of them under $200. Are they a shiny boat anchor... not better that the trusty Otca-Capture?
Maybe in a few years I'll upgrade my DAW to a motherboard or whatever I need to have a TB interface. I'm not really sure it matters though.

Since you're already looking, check out the Audient iD22. I love mine.

Zoom would not be on my short list...or even my long list.
Top of list my is RME, then on a budget it will be the Tascam UH 7000.
I already have possible 18 inputs with what I have. So next interface would be for the quailty of the pre amps. And I don't need low RTL so that makes life simple too.

Thanks all. I figured I would stay away from the ZOOM. They seem to make some good products but all the cheap units on EBAY give me pause.
I'll check the others. I really only need two inputs most of the time. Occasionally four but I could make do quite well with just two.
I'll check all those out. I'm not sure how much longer the OC is going to keep up with new tech.

Thanks again.

You should read throught the many other threads here about buying interfaces. The topic comes up 5 times a week and mostly the answers are the same.

My blurb explains what to look for.

Hey J,

What specifically are you looking for?  That'll help narrow the field.

Sounds like you're wanting lower latencies...?

Chuckywalk is a satisfied owner of the UAC-2/UAC-8 units. He goes into a bit of detail about them here:
