My M81 track took a year to get to the point where I was happy with it.

As Adrian says, definitely a Berlin School vibe to this piece

These ambient pieces seem a lot harder to do than the more straightforward "normal" music. I get lost in the middle of a long evolving section and have to listen to it over and over to figure out the best place to insert another track.

When I am creating my longer, ten minute plus tracks you spend a lot more time just listening and tweaking.
