Hey peeps, hope you're all well and groovy

Question, please?
Is there a way to display the piano roll and the score editor in parallel? That would help immensely with modifying the note lengths and velocities while you write notation

Thanks a lot

Yes, just float one or the other. Its much easier with dual monitors though.

Thanks very much John. YOu know I don't seem to be able to do that?
If I double click the clip it opens the piano roll and if I then select score from the menu, it opens in place of the piano roll, so effectively I can't see both together. Any advice, please?

Anyway I'm going to submit a feature request for an integrated window that has both score and piano roll together. That might be a good solution to the notation editor blues

Right-click either or both tabs at the bottom of the multidock and undock the view(s)

I just grab the tab and drag it. (Left click and hold the tab / and drag it).
Then make a screenset, lock that. This way you can go back and forth from one view to the other = 2 floating views / just the track view.

Also, don't forget that SONAR has Inline Piano Roll View.

I can't tell you how long I went without using the undock or tab-drag approach to do this.  It was a major "doh!" moment when it finally dawned on me!
