Kontakt needs up to date graphics and up to date windows update to run properly.
as I said previously, your error sounds like a classic case of "I'm missing the C++ Runtime library's".

Im going to go out on a limb here and say.. everything is not up to date.
you probably missed one, or missed a few.

others just like you having the same error code as you are with the 5.6.1 update.
Really has little to do with Sonar.
 
Im still sticking by my previous estimations: Its the C++ Runtime / C++ Redistributable.
When Kontakt is Programed by NI, they use up to date C++. if you don't have it..guess what ?
you get the error you posted earlier.

• Download the Visual C++ Redistributable:

• Run the vc_redist.x64.exe (64-bit) or vc_redist.x86.exe (32-bit) and select Uninstall
• Run the .exe again and select Install

I think you are right!---> i checked my updates in window...and I found out I had heaps of updates which weren't downloaded and installed yet...
So tonight I will perform the updates and let you know if that was the problem..

I found out windows hadn't been updated since june 2016, so I tried to download all the update, which didn't work.
There seemed to be some kind of bug with the update-system.
Anyhow, bin up all night to find the right patch for this.

this morning all the updates were installed. Tonight I will try if Kontakt finally works..
