hello everyone, this is something i have never attempted.
i have made a short video using my ZOOM Q-3HD.
what i want to do is get it into sonar to see what i can do with it.
i have imported it, however, i get a message telling me "can not play video file not supported".
so, how do i make the video in a format that sonar can use.
thanks so much.

@dion16
looking at the properties it says MOV file (mov)
does that help?
thanks for answering, this is the only time i've posted something here where i didn't get a ton of responses.

There's a .mov to .mp4 online converter site.
I just used it a few days ago and it's very good.

However note that if you want to be able to move the video clip on the timeline,you need to convert to a native Windows video format (e.g., AVI or WMV) and use the DirectShow video engine (specified in SONAR's config file, which you can open in Preferences).

Install KLite video codecs. I can use MOV files within Sonar using that.
