A year ago, I built a new computer for music. I'm up-to-date with SONAR updates. Even though I can see all the plug-ins when I run the checker, they don't appear on the menus by default. Any idea why this latest iteration of SONAR is so stubborn about displaying the plug-ins without going to a whole lot of extra trouble? All I want to do is make music and not fight with the computer.
 

Which plug-in layout option are you using?

Whatever the default is. I've tried creating my own plug-in layouts, but I don't understand why my plug-ins aren't appearing by default on the standard SONAR menus without me having to add them. That was something I never had to do before.

Sorry for being vague. I'm at my home office computer and the music computer is in the recording studio across the hall.
 

have you tried a reset / re-scanning ?
