I have recently updated to Maschine Studio 2.5 and since then Sonar crashes.  It appears to hang at VST scan Maschine 2 FX.dll and then crashes. I am using the 64bit version - Maschine 2.5 will open in 64bit standalone mode but will not open in Sonar as a VST.  I have been at this for the better part of 4 days now with no fix.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and programs and searched Native Instruments support pages, internet and Cakewalk forums and tried everything under the sun with no success.
 
Has anyone else experienced this problem and has a workaround?

I have the Maschine 2.5 update installed and the scan has no problems but I only have the Mikro hardware.
 
Might be something to do with the drivers for the studio do you have the same issue if you start Sonar without the controller plugged in?
 
Also it often helps if you list information about your system specs and the audio interface you are using.  

After spending 23 hours trying to solve this problem I have made some progress.  I can now open Sonar Plat without it crashing.  The problem I am having now is Maschine 2.0 shows up as an instrument when it should be Maschine 2.5  I have run VST scan several times and I can see that it sees the Maschine 2FX.dll and Maschine 2.dll but loads the 2.0 version. 
 
 
 
 
I have the same issue when I start Sonar with the Controller not connected.
