Another silly newbie question - VST2 vs VST3

Hello Cakewalk people! Thank you for your patience with my inexperience. I noticed that most of the plugins I have offer both a VST2 and VST3 version. In general, should I be choosing the 2 or the 3? I see a bunch of them showing up twice when adding a plugin to a track. Thank you for your advice! C..

question about mastering

I tried using T Racks Classic Clipper in Sonar, but it didn't clip it. I emailed IK Multimedia, and they gave some answer about it only working with certain DAW's.Anyway, I was wondering what people use to clip their songs when mastering in Sonar. Thanks,Greg..

I'm wondering, is there a way to assign keyboard shortcuts to frequently used commands within specific views? [SOLVED] Can't find "Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth" on my Windows 10

For some reason, the "Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth" has disappeared from my Windows 10.Now CbB does not show anything in MIDI Output Devices and there is nothing "Software Devices" in the Windows 10 Device Manager. Would anyone know how can I reinstall Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth in Windows 10?..
