Input Echo State

I there a way to select the behavior of the Input Echo such that when selecting record on a MIDI track it also switches the Auto Thru to that track? I can't tell you how many times I enable record on a track and hit record, only to stop in surprise as my MIDI keyboard is playing the wrong instrument..

Addictive Drummer 2 VST sounds fine OK standalone, but pops etxc. in Sonar.

I had Sonar X1 and bought Addictive Drummer 2 and set up in sonar as VST plugin. Standalone AD sounded great, but in Sonar the toms and kick pop or crackle.
