Opening an old bun file

I have a bun file from 2001. If I open it and choose to "Store Project Audio in its own Folder", Sonar (2016.08) simply hangs after creating some folders (Project name, Audio and MixScenes). How do I install a new theme?

I have really tried to figure this out on my own... Cakewalk sent me a theme in my email. Purple Mercury.sth I tried to drag and drop it on cakewalk, nope I tried opening preferences => themes and no place to install new theme just the drop downs of default themes. Some quirks I've noticed.

Theme Generator Install Failed

I use Win 7 Home Premium, and my system is an offline system, and I have never hit up Microsoft for updates - just don't feel like hauling my machine upstairs, and whatever...).
