Odd problem with dragging audio in Sonar X3 Studio

I'm having a very weird problem where when I drag the audio, it moves visually but not during playback. So I drag the vocals a measure back, and when I hit play they are still where they were originally. Even if I delete the audio, it's still there on playback. Has anyone else had this problem? How ..

Selection time view and splitting by selection

I was wondering if it's possible to see the actual time of a selection I make. Meaning I drag across the time line, or a clip, I can see "1 minute 3 seconds" somewhere.
