wonky mouse (click/drag) control of faders 'n knobs

Hi, I thought I remember a setting anywhere to change the behaviour of how faders |n knobs are controlled with the mouse. Currently, when I click/hold on a fader, the mouse Cursor disappears. When I then move the mouse up/down, the fader moves accordingly. Let go the mouse button, the Cursor apeears..
