Pan for audio channel not working

Hi all, When I vary pan on audio track via automation, the values only show left channel varying, and the sound's output on playback is static (annoyingly slightly to the left). Same when I change the pan for track (in the track's panel that shows volume, gain, etc) - there is no audible shift in ch..

Sonar 8.5 wave has "outline" but no sound

I was doing punch ins with my usual settings with multiple takes in one track. The previous take wouldn't play back and the wav form was done as an outline on the monitor screen. Hi Everyone , I am wondering why my project size is 116,000 kb but when its opened in win 10 > task manager shows 10,000 MB memory being used by sonar ? is this normal because it doesnt seem right ? or is there anything i can do to reduce this memory size ?? thanks..

channel tools

Channel Tools still causes weird pops when inserted and generally messes things up. I am up to date on updates. Is there something I'm missing, or is Channel Tools still glitchy? IF so, what do you all use as an alternative?..

Delay When Freezing Synths

Has anyone else experienced this? When I freeze a synth it has a delay of an exact musical duration i.e. 1/16 or 1/32. Might just be coincidence but I have to correct it by shifting the clip by that amount. It has only happened recently ie from the last or last but one update. Any ideas. Puzzled?..
