Exclusive use of audio output device

Is there a way to configure Cakewalk to not grab exclusive use of the audio output device, or to temporarily release it? When I have Cakewalk running, I can't use any other program that outputs audio. From those programs, I either get an error message along the lines of "Unable to open audio device"..

Undo History Incident

Just ran into an issue where after loop recording multiple takes (like 10), then using Undo to remove Take 10 only, Sonar performed an Undo of all 10 takes in one command and removed the Re-do possibility...
