Layers

I still can not believe that cakewalk removed layers from sonar. I don't like the new thing and the more I use it the more unwelcoming I feel toward it. I also find the removal of the stereo/mono switch to the track inspector to be a bewildering choice. Sucks for me because I still use sonar ..

VRM box

So, I got a VRM box super cheap on ebay. It works great EXCEPT SPLAT will only let me use EITHER the VRM OR my Tascam. How do I set it up so i don't have to keep switching back and forth? Sharke said in another thread that one can just make sonar ignore the VRM. Is that what I should do?..

Facing Latency Problem - Nector MIDI Controller / VST - Rapture Session, Komplete Kontrol

Heavy MIDI users: "Draw" tool undocumented pipette subtool wipes out notes in midi clips

If you use the Draw tool in midi and you hover over a midi note, the cursor turns into what looks like a little glue tube. If you click, it takes up the properties of that note and applies them to the next note you draw. I like this feature a lot. I have not found it documented anywhere in the help...

Sonar Lost a Track

I was just working on a song and Sonar crashed. When I reopened it the first track was gone. I tried to open the recovery file and it was empty. Has this ever happened to anyone and is there anyway to recover my missing track?..
