Can't see any data for any tracks I import or record.

When I record I see nothing at all, and then once it's done this I what I get in the image below. Even when I open previously recorded tracks this is it. If anyone has any idea why it would really help! I'm missing out on money because of it as it's rendering me unable to mix. I haven't changed any ..

Audio Waveforms Missing
