Question: Multidock with control bar/menu

Is there a way to maximize the multidock but still have the menu/control bar at the top? Basically fit it in the same space as the Track view.I can dock at top or bottom and drag the window down/up but Sonar wouldn't save the view and reset to split view when you add a new tab or open the project..
