Missing Midi Ports Sonar

When I plug a USB cable from the M-Audio Midisport 4X4 interface to different computer USB input slots, the Input and Output numbers in Devices in Sonar change. So, if I had original had 2, it changes it to a random number, like a 6. This wouldn't be bad, except any midi track recorded on 2 will not..

I cannot restore the Expand/Collapse button in my track panes. They were showing up, but I believe I hid or made them go away by accidentally pressing a key or key combination on my keyboard. Does anyone know how to restore this button? I thought it should be easy to find information on this in SONA..
