Cumulative Update and Cakewalk (Solved)

My Win10 Pc just done a Cumalative Update KB4284835, and now my Faderport 1 doesnt work properly with either CbB or Platinum but ok in studio One 3. As the title says, just wondering if it's possible to reinstall SONAR Artist, perhaps in a different folder from CbB? I have my reasons for doing so, just don't want to try if it won't get me anywhere...

Someone posted a way to save versions of CbB but I'm damned if I can find it, I know it involved precise timing during install of new versions and as current version is working fine I'd like to be able to save installer. Anyone have the link or necessary instructions.Thanks Roy..
